Marketplace Orders
Limit and market orders use price-time matching, account Bucks, commodity holdings, and escrow.
Limit Orders
A limit price is the worst price you accept: Buy orders may fill at that price or lower; Sell orders may fill at that price or higher.
Matching
Best price has priority, followed by earliest order sequence. The incoming order may fill across several resting orders, and accounts cannot trade with themselves.
Escrow
Buy cash and Sell commodities are reserved at placement. Only the unfilled remainder stays escrowed. Cancellation returns that remainder.
Partial Fills
Orders may fill partly and remain active. Settlement records exact quantity, price, buyer, seller, and time. Replay protection prevents duplicated orders or cancellation returns.
