Rent
Acquire and maintain the currently available State rental residence.

State Housing Register
State Apartments is the current State rental. It costs 9 Bucks per resident per day and requires Citizen rank or higher. The register shows every State tenant and eligible unhoused account character together.
Residence
Each character has one canonical residence. The account-wide register manages State tenancies without changing the active character; property ownership alone does not establish residence.
Renewal and Expiry
Each tenant renews separately through authoritative paid periods when funds are available. If payment cannot be made at expiry, that residence stops providing shelter. Per-character charges are applied once and survive restart.
Why Housing Matters
Citizens and higher ranks require a valid residence for many activities. A State Apartment supplies shelter but no private agricultural acreage.
Moving
Unhoused characters may enter State housing. A State tenant may transfer atomically into an account property from its resident manager; residents of another property must move out first.
