Implemented
Livestock
Build property-scoped facilities, manage individual animals, feed, production, breeding, and maturation.
Requirement
Livestock requires Citizen rank or higher and a functional private house owned by the active character. State Apartments and another character's property do not qualify.
Independent Capacity
Livestock consumes no Gardening acres. Coop and Barn levels independently determine animal and Feed Bin capacity for each property.
Chicken Coop
Only young Chicks are purchased. Feed controls nourishment, weight, and later Egg production. Hens produce Eggs while alive; Hens and Roosters may breed.
Poultry Lifecycle
Chicks are young poultry and mature after both the configured age and minimum weight. A Chick, Hen, or Rooster produces weight-based Chicken Meat when slaughtered. Poultry never produces Beef Meat or Leather.
Cattle Barn
Only young Calves are purchased. Feed controls nourishment, weight, and Milk production. Cows produce Milk while alive; Bulls enable breeding but produce no Milk.
Cattle Lifecycle
Calves are young cattle and mature after both the configured age and minimum weight. A Calf, Cow, or Bull produces weight-based Beef Meat and Leather when slaughtered. Cattle never produces Chicken Meat.
Storage and Offline Progress
Feed inputs leave Account Storage exactly once. Elapsed-time feed, weight, maturation, production, and breeding reconcile after refresh or time offline exactly once. Eggs and Milk enter Storage only through Collect.
Livestock Products
Eggs, Milk, Beef Meat, Chicken Meat, and Leather enter Account Storage and trade as five independent Marketplace products. Eggs, Milk, Beef Meat, and Chicken Meat may be prepared as Provisions; Leather is not food.
Workshop goods in existing household systems
Crafted products use the existing Storage, Provisions, Livestock and Marketplace controls. Workshop stock must first leave its supply room; it is not automatically available to the household.
- Wheat Flour: 3 Provisions per unit when prepared from Account Storage.
- Cornmeal: 3 Provisions per unit when prepared from Account Storage.
- Preserved Meat: 8 Provisions per unit when prepared from Account Storage.
- Vegetable Rations: 6 Provisions per unit when prepared from Account Storage.
- Tomato Soup: 4 Provisions per unit when prepared from Account Storage.
- Animal Feed adds 3 feed units and Bran adds 1 in either a Coop or Barn. Move them into Account Storage before loading the Feed Bin.
- Wheat Flour is a trade product and cannot become Provisions directly. Salt, Workshop Fuel and Preserving Jars are production inputs.
- The one-time starter 10 Household Provisions are already prepared. They can refill Energy before Storage exists; normal food preparation requires Storage.
Meat and Leather processing
Butcher & Smokehouse preserves Beef Meat and Chicken Meat. Leather Workshop uses existing processed Leather for wearable protection. Move products from Account Storage into the workshop; return crafted feed through Storage to the existing Feed Bin.
